About Us
Evan Haines
Guitar
Evan lives in Portland, Maine and is the dad of two boys.
He plays locally with LQH, Bess Jacques, Evan Haines Duo and Trio and Half Off!!
Performing in top venues and recording in studios in Nashville and New York, Evan has shared the stage with Sarah McLachlan, John Popper, and Loreena McKennitt, among others.
He records both in his home studio and as a featured artist on collaborative projects.
Duane Edwards
Bass
Duane lives in Falmouth, Maine with his wife and daughter.
Performing across the U.S. and internationally, Duane has shared the stage with Chuchito Valdés, The Buena Vista Orchestra, Jeff Coffin, Jon Langford, and many others.
He performs locally with Primo Cubano, Maine Middle Eastern Ensemble, and Bess Jacques.
Duane also teaches bass at Bowdoin, Colby and the University of Maine, Augusta, along with directing jazz combos and lecturing.
Christina Edwards
Marketing & Booking
Christina (Duane's wife) is an entrepreneur and mom to one.
While not currently performing, Christina met both Duane and Evan in music school at the University of Maine Augusta's small jazz combo program, where she studied piano performance.
Now she runs two online businesses as well as managing the marketing and booking for Old Port Jazz Society.
Christina enjoys connecting with the local small business community and attending as many gigs as she can.
